Formed in 2017 and conceived by Amrit Rao, the six-piece Madras Rock outfit Amrit Rao & The Madrascals broke into the scene with their maiden live performance in January 2018. With strong and intriguing lyrical content in Tamil, the Chennai band has a wall of sound that is unique, quirky, powerful and distinctly their own; a local sound with a global flavour.
